About us

SysBio group

The Computational Systems Biology of Cancer group (SysBio) is a team of researchers from various disciplines (mathematics, physics, biology, computer science) of Institut Curie, working together on answering major questions of cancer biology.

One of our objectives is to develop computational methods to deal with omics data and unravel relevant biological insights. The team has worked on the application of Independent Component Analysis to omics data for many years. The stabilized-ica project enriches the set of tools that have already been developped and will make the integration of ICA in our python projects more straightforward.
